at a time that suits you
Our Audio Engineering module is great fun. Taught in classes of no more than 8 people, over 6 months we cover a lot of ground in a hands-on way – both in the studio and out on field trips! The goal is for students to build up diverse portfolios, so they can open up a range of career pathways.
On the Audio Engineering module we cover:
Throughout your training you’ll have access to industry-standard hardware and software including Pro Tools, Solid State Logic, Midas, UAD and iZotope technology, and access to high-end studios and recording facilities to explore sonically.
You don’t have to be into rock music to do this module. Nor is this module all about recording bands, but has been adapted to be relevant for music producers wanting to bring an edge to their sound and apply their production knowledge to commercial briefs.
You can study our 6-month Audio Engineering module as a standalone course – it’s suitable for beginners, and those who’ve already been making music.
However you can also include the module as part of a larger course at SEM; for example the Complete Music Production and Audio Engineering Course.
Our ‘Introduction‘ and ‘Complete’ Courses come with freebies – 1 year’s Roland Cloud Ultimate (£150), and choose from the powerful music production software Ableton Live Suite (£539) or Native Instruments Komplete (£499). On our Master Course, you get all 3 free! All ‘Complete‘ and ‘Master‘ students also benefit from free enrolment onto our 3 month Electronic Music Composition module, and 3 months extra studio access at the end.
• 50% off NI Komplete • 40% off Ableton Live Suite
