Stefanie Hall Announced as SEM Scholarship Winner
In April SEM launched its scholarship competition which gave entrants the opportunity to win a place on SEM’s Introduction to Music Production course. An outstanding response made it difficult to choose a winner however after a lot of deliberation, Manchester based musician Stefanie Hall was awarded the prize. We sat down with Stefanie to find out more about her.
Mad Rush MC School of Electronic Music Scholarship
Due to overwhelming public interest in Owen’s case, which saw 100,000+ people sign an online petition of support, plus political intervention, the well-loved festival performer was saved from deportation on February 5th, 2019. Upon returning to Manchester, after spending 5 weeks detained over 200 miles from his young children, the Directors of School of Electronic Music (SEM) stepped forward to acknowledge Owen’s longstanding reputation in the music industry and to offer him a prestigious Introduction to Music Production scholarship at their state-of-the-art facilities.
