What does this mean?
If your loan application is referred, it usually means Omni Capital need to undertake some additional checks or request some further information before being able to make a decision. Once they have the necessary information, they will be able to make a final decision on your finance application. It could be as simple as a middle name not being present, or another question on the application that needs to be manually checked.
There are more accepted applications after a referral than declined.
The additional checks normally takes just a few minutes. However, applications received between the hours of 8pm and 8am GMT, during especially busy periods, or those that require more detailed consideration may take slightly longer (but you should get a response by the next working day at the absolute latest).
Once the underwriting team at Omni Capital have made a decision, you will be notified by e-mail and if approved, this e-mail will contain instructions on how to complete your finance application (please check your spam folder to make sure it has not been re-directed there).
