UK & EU Students
School of Electronic Music can accept all students from the UK and European Union for all of our courses. There would be no restrictions on your stay in the UK, and no international course fee prices or need to apply for a VISA. This also goes for students who have dual nationality with the UK.
The recent ‘Brexit’ vote in the UK currently has no impact on European students wishing to study in the UK. Until Article 50 is invoked – if it is ever invoked – it will then require a further 2 years before any possible changes might affect European students who are wanting to study in the UK. For all courses we currently offer to European students, these will be completed within this time frame.
International Students
As a school we cannot provide you with a Tier 4 visa. This means you cannot travel to the UK for study with us, if your main purpose for travel to the UK is to study.
However, if your main purpose to the UK is as a visitor ie. for leisure, and studying a course is something you wish to do in addition (and is not the main reason for your trip), you may be able to still travel to the UK on a standard visitor visa.
If you are already in the UK on a Tier 4 VISA (for example through a British University, then you are welcome to study with us, but we cannot offer any extensions on your Tier 4 Visa.
Please arrange a call with a course advisor who can discuss what visa options are available to you.
Alternatively, we also offer a range of online courses that may be of interest to you.
Please note that responsibility for securing the visa itself rests with you (the individual student) and not with the School of Electronic Music. We can take no responsibility for visa applications that are unsuccessful. If for any reason your visa application is unsuccessful, we will refund your full course fees, minus the registration fee of £300.
