Introduction
If you’re a Mac user looking to make music, Logic Pro X is an excellent starting point—especially if you have a singer-songwriter or acoustic background. This powerful software is used by industry professionals worldwide and is available on the App Store for £199. However, like most music production tools, there’s a steep learning curve, and it can be challenging to figure out where to begin.
Our Logic Pro X training consists of 14 hours of one-to-one tuition, making it ideal for every level—from absolute beginners to experienced users looking to refine their skills. Sessions can also be arranged at times that suit you—whether weekdays, weekends, or evenings—ensuring a truly flexible learning experience.
If you’re a beginner, we’ll concentrate on the core essentials to get you making music and finishing a track. This includes learning how to record audio, program instrumentation in your chosen genre, arrange your ideas, and develop a basic mixdown—resulting in a completed song by the end of the 14 hours.
If you’re an experienced Logic user seeking specific techniques, SEM’s Logic Pro X tutor, Ella Heald, has the advanced knowledge to help you excel. She’ll work closely with you to discuss your goals and build a customised curriculum tailored to your production needs.
Please note, this is not a Logic 101 Certification Course.
