Do the Rights Thing : Thurs Sept 5th 6 – 9pm
Digital Rights and Royalties expert Lucilla Green (Do The Rights Thing) and DJ and producer Johnny Jay (Mixrupt) will present ‘The Sampled Series’. This free workshop will look at how DIY, bedroom artists can cover, remix, sample and release music in this digital age.
The workshop will be followed by a performance where Johnny Jay will showcase some of the biggest sampled tracks in the history of electronic music, and a networking event where artists will be encouraged to meet, share ideas, and collaborate. Don’t miss out – this event is going to be awesome
During this event there will be workshops showcasing TRAKTOR, KOMPLETE, and a special focus on MASCHINE for the 10 year Maschine anniversary. The workshops will be suitable for beginners/intermediate and advanced users looking to get into music production and DJing.
