Native Instruments Meetup
school of electronic music (MMS) are offering a free Native Instruments taster session to the local Manchester community.
Our Native Meetups are an opportunity to share musical ideas, experiment with Native Instruments gear and meet with like-minded people.
If you are interested in making, or performing, music and want to see how Native Instruments can help you achieve this, then please come along to our free event, as one of the few schools to hold the Native Education Partner titles, there are few opportunities like this available.
Session 1: 18.45 – 19.30
Reaktor Blocks (Basic)
A starter’s guide to Reaktor Blocks, teaching you how to harness the power of unlimited oscillators, filters and effects, along with modulators and sequencers. (21 seats)
Maschine Jam (Basic)
This is a beginner’s look at Machine Jam, and how you can quickly get up and running making beats and programming grooves that you simply can’t recreate with a mouse. (12 seats)
Komplete 11 (Advanced)
A small, personal surgery-type session with producers, to give you the opportunity ask any questions you might have with any of the Komplete 11 plugins. Feel free to bring along your own projects! (6 seats)
Session 2: 19.35 – 20.20
Sample Manipulation using Form (Basic)
Starting with just one basic sample, we’ll show you how to add texture and movement to your music using the Form plugin. (21 seats)
Maschine Jam (Advanced)
This is a finer look at Machine Jam for those of you who are already using it. We’ll be looking at to get the most out of your jam and its workflow, and give advice on utilising it for a live set. (12 seats)
Komplete 11 (Advanced )
A second opportunity for people to take part in the small surgery-type session with producers, to give you the opportunity ask any questions you might have with any of the Komplete 11 plugins. Feel free to bring along your own projects! (6 seats)
