Can you talk to us a bit about the organisation of Igloo Doo – from conception to actually running on the day – what were the big lessons you learnt?

About Sounds from the Other City Festival
Sounds from the Other City Festival (SFTOC) is a celebration of new music and performance, uniting the cream of the national and international scene with some of the Manchester’s finest independent promoters, collectives and club nights. Happening regularly on the May Day Bank Holiday each year along the Chapel St corridor of the historic city of Salford, 2016 will be the festivals 12th installment.

When is it Happening? How do I get Tickets?

This year we will be returning to Liverpool Sound City to host a whole day of DJing and Music Production workshops. Including a special remixing workshop with Ben Pearce!
When and Where is it Happening?
Friday 27th May 2016 10-4pm at the Titanic Hotel, Liverpool.
The Sessions
Throughout the day our DJ Tutor Mark One will be hosting free DJing workshops. Spaces are limited so please come down to register from 10am. From 1pm – 2.30pm, Ben Pearce will be remixing a track live. Our Ableton certified Tutor Tom Lonsborough will be demonstrating using Ableton Live with a live band set up from 3pm.
